BASF's Agricultural Solutions Division is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Distribution Sales Support Representative to join our Research Triangle Park, North Carolina location.
Distribution Sales Support Representative (1704015) – Research Triangle Park, NC
As a Distribution Sales Support Representative, you will represent BASF as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers. You will fully understand all aspects of the Professional & Specialty Solutions (P&SS) product programs, and will have the capability to calculate program parameters and key deadlines.
You will be working closely with the channel to ensure they have an understanding of the requests and goals that have been given to them as a business partner. In addition, you will maintain a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the BASF specialty product line.
Formula for Success: You Will...
Proactively remove obstacles between distributor inquiries / requirements and BASF's ability to satisfy them
Communicate order confirmation/supply plans or product availability between customer, business unit and supply chain
Collaborate with BASF Marketing, Channel Sales, Supply Chain, Fulfillment and Manufacturing resources to meet customer expectations
Provide supplemental service and support to BASF Marketing and Field Sales Force and Strategic Account Mangers
Identify sensitive and/or high-risk issues that are outside of day to day activities and act as a key contributor for developing and delivering/implementing resolutions within the Sales Support environment
Travel to customer sites as required, but at minimum one customer visit per year
Present relevant topics at sales or other business meetings
Ensure our Rebate Fulfillment tool is up to date with valid sales information, current users and that approval chains adhere to audit controls
Primary contact for questions, training and password resets for the P&SS Rebate Fulfillment tool
Liaison for the Agency Inventory Audit between business, Business Liaison, Controller, P&SS Customer Service and the BASF Authorized Agent
