Our client raises money for market-leading private equity funds across Europe. They have an enviable track-record and many of their clients are raising with them for the third time.
In order to continue growing and succeeding, they are hiring a distribution professional to join the team covering investors around the world. You'll be someone with a proven sales track-record and a desire to build a career in private equity distribution. You don't need to have prior PE experience – they are just as interested in equity sales backgrounds or similar. Their approach is to "hire for attitude, train for skills".
Maintain relationships with existing investors, taking on warm realtionships on arrival
Map and approach new potential investors to increase coverage
Understand GP sales strategies and pitch ideas to investors
Manage sales processes through to completion
Hungry – you thrive off success and will go the extra mile to achieve results
Humble – you understand when someone else knows more than you and you use that knowledge to improve yourself
Honest – you must gain the trust of LPs and be seen as a go-to advisor
