GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: The SCARPA North America (SNA) Distribution Center Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating customer fulfillment, managing inventory, shipping and receiving.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Distribution Center activities including shipping, receiving and inventory organization
Work in SNA Warehouse Management System and NetSuite
Managing Fed X, UPS, USPS and various other shipping and freight operations.
Monitor and review freight and shipping invoices and rates
Experience and competence in working with WMS, ERP, Fed X, UPS and USPS systems
Process Commercial Invoices
Manage Customs documentation and systems
Manage Canadian shipments and paperwork
Understand, implement and follow Vendor Compliance Requirements for customers
Experience and competence in working with Excel and Word
Inventory Management and annual inventory audit
Assist and help coordinate the SNA Product Quality Assurance process
Assist with Special Projects like product rework, repair and spare parts management
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (following duties are required on all positions):
Obtain necessary information by maintaining knowledge of SNA’s electronic communication software.
Maintain quality service by establishing, following, and enforcing organization quality system standards.
Uphold SNA’s core values, mission statement and business goals.
Complete other duties as assigned by your manager.
Follow SNA’s policies as noted in the Employee Handbook.
Internal: Distribution Center staff, Operations manager, Administrative and Sales staff, Purchasing, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Finance and CEO
External: SNA retail dealers, direct sales customers, shipping and freight partners, US and International Customs.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) from four-year college or university and three to four years of related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES OR KNOWLEDGE
Valid US Driver’s License
Forklift Operator Certification
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
