Support the sales and service activities performed in the international offices (London, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo). Serve as the primary point person for these international offices regarding operational and distribution-related questions and requests. Prioritize internal initiatives and activities that will improve the overall support model to these offices. Proactively offer solutions and ideas based on experience and observations.
Maintain regular communication with the international offices via video and telephone conferences.
Assist the head of the International team as needed. Contribute to board reporting, business plans, routine business metrics and reporting (dashboards), and ad hoc analyses upon request.
Work closely with all EVMI team members as well as Boston-based resources including institutional client service, legal, compliance, corporate finance, investment operations, and information technology.
Coordinate with EV affiliates (Parametric, Hexavest, and Atlanta Capital) as needed to resolve business challenges,
Initiate and manage projects designed to improve the international client and prospect experience. Conduct analysis, present alternatives, and make recommendations. Projects may involve workflow/process enhancements, systems implementations, regulatory and/or compliance related initiatives, new and existing product and vehicle developments, or new market entry.
Gather input and recommendations from and provide feedback to the EVMI business development team regarding product development, product enhancements and product acceptance within international jurisdictions. This may include fund registration, share classes, distribution relationships, etc.
Attend industry conferences and report to management on industry developments and initiatives.
Travel to corporate office of US based parent company as well as other international offices is required.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Minimum of seven years of related experience.
Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks with a sense of prioritization. Must also be adaptable, entrepreneurial and confident in ability to 'learn as you go'
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, in addition to project management and delivery skills
Must have strong relationship management skills, and be able to manage relationships across divisions, managing upwards and across time zones
Able to work well within a team atmosphere as well as independently
